जय माँ नर्मदा!
With the divine grace of Maa Narmada, I am humbled to share that the Mini Narmada Parikrama shall commence on the auspicious day of March 30, marking the sacred beginning of Chaitra Navratri. This 21-kilometer spiritual journey will begin from Rampura, leading the sadhakas (spiritual seekers) on a path of devotion, self-purification, and divine blessings.
The Sacred Significance of the Parikrama
In the month of Chaitra, the celestial energies are at their peak, making this time especially potent for spiritual upliftment. Undertaking this Parikrama during Navratri and Ram Navami is believed to bestow the same divine merit as completing the entire 4,000-kilometer Narmada Parikrama. It is a sacred offering of surrender, devotion, and inner transformation, where one walks not just on the physical path but also on the eternal path of self-realization.
The Journey of the Parikrama
Route: The journey begins from Rampura, from where sadhakas walk along the northern bank of Maa Narmada till they reach Tilakwada, about 10 kilometers away. There, the divine river is crossed, and the return path to Rampura completes the Parikrama.
Time Required: The Parikrama can be completed in one to three days, depending on the pace and spiritual intent of the sadhakas. Some may choose to walk slowly, absorbing the divine vibrations, while others may complete it in a single day.
Offering & Seva: There is no obligatory expenditure for this sacred journey. Sadhakas may offer their devotion in any form—through bhakti (devotion), daan (donation), or seva (selfless service). Upon completing the Parikrama, one may choose to perform Kanya Bhojan (feeding young girls) or any other form of charity as per one's heart’s calling.
Walking with Devotion, Not Hurry
Though this Parikrama can be completed in a day, it is not a journey of mere distance—it is a journey of the soul. Let each step be a prayer, each breath a chant of Maa Narmada’s divine name. Along the way, there are temples of Swaminarayan and other ancient deities, where sadhakas can pause, reflect, and deepen their connection with the Supreme.
An Invitation to the Seekers
I have walked this sacred path before and would be honored to guide those who feel the divine calling to join. If your heart whispers the desire to walk in devotion, surrender to Maa Narmada, and experience this spiritual purification, you are welcome to join this journey.
For those wishing to stay at the Rampura Ashram, I can provide details upon request. Please reach out to me via WhatsApp, and I shall assist you in every way possible.
A Time of Divine Blessings—Do Not Let It Pass
Performing this 21-kilometer Parikrama in Chaitra month, starting March 30, is a rare and golden opportunity. It is said that walking this sacred path during this time bestows the merit of a full 4,000-kilometer Parikrama. Such is the infinite grace of Maa Narmada!
This is not just a journey of the feet—it is a journey of the soul. The river calls, the time is divine, and the path is blessed. If you feel the pull, do not hesitate—step forward in faith, surrender, and devotion.
