Not Morality, Humanity
🌸
*To treat a human as a human — that alone is true humanity.*
— Sadguru Shri Wamanrao Pai
In this one line lies the entire essence of human life.
Today, we have grown in knowledge, technology, wealth, and status —
yet there is no peace in the mind, no unity in society, no warmth in relationships.
Why?
Because we learn morality, but we fail to live humanity.
Morality is about rules;
Humanity is about awareness.
Morality says, “This is right, that is wrong.”
Humanity says, “What is done with compassion is right.”
🌺
*Education of the Heart — The Heart of Education*
The saints remind us —
“Education of the heart is the heart of all true education.”
We sharpen the intellect,
but rarely awaken the heart.
Hence, man becomes clever, but loses sensitivity.
The intellect tells us what to do;
the heart tells us why and for whom to do it.
Through the intellect, we understand the world;
through the heart, we connect with the world.
That connection — is the seed of humanity.
🌿
*The Longing to Cross All Boundaries*
Every creature lives within its natural limits,
but man is different.
Within him burns a flame — the urge to cross boundaries.
Sometimes it appears as greed,
sometimes as ambition,
sometimes as conflict, and sometimes as service.
But its root desire is one —
to make what is beyond us, a part of us.
If this longing becomes unconscious, it breeds conflict.
If it becomes conscious, it turns into love, compassion, and cooperation.
And that is when humanity truly blossoms.
🌼
*The Triangle of Mind — Thought, Emotion, and Action*
The human mind is a perfect equilateral triangle.
Its three sides are — thought, emotion, and action.
Thought gives direction,
Emotion gives warmth,
Action gives manifestation.
As long as these three remain in balance,
the mind stays healthy and steady.
When one side overstretches,
tension and imbalance arise.
The base of this triangle is emotion.
The broader it is, the more inclusive the mind becomes.
A vast heart never gets trapped in its own pain,
it sees itself in another’s suffering.
And that’s where humanity begins to bloom.
🌸
*The Trigunas — Harmony of the Three Forces*
Indian philosophy declares —
The entire cosmos is woven from the three gunas: Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas.
Brahma — creation — symbolizes Rajas (activity).
Vishnu — preservation — symbolizes Sattva (balance).
Mahesh — dissolution — symbolizes Tamas (rest or inertia).
These three deities are not outside us;
they dwell within the human psyche itself.
Thoughts reflect Sattva — they illuminate.
Emotions embody Rajas — they energize.
Actions express Tamas — they manifest.
True balance of these three brings mental stability.
But when one dominates,
chaos, pride, or lethargy take over.
🌿
*When the Three Gunas Unite — The Human Becomes Dattaswaroopa*
When Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas
do not merely coexist but merge into one another,
there arises the state of Sakshi Bhava — the witness consciousness.
This awareness is the “real I” within —
beyond thought, emotion, and action.
In that state —
thought becomes light,
emotion becomes compassion,
and action becomes worship.
At that sacred moment,
the inner “I” stands revealed as Dattaswaroopa —
not an outer god, but the awakening of inner consciousness.
And then, the walls of I and You melt away —
as Saint Janardan Swami sang:
*The distinction of I and You dissolved away;*
*Janardan sees only Dattatreya in meditation.*
That is the birth of true humanity.
Because in that moment,
man ceases to be merely virtuous —
he becomes divine.
He rises from the little “I” of ego
to the infinite “I” present in all beings.
🌺
*Beyond the Atom — The Infinite I*
Saint Tukaram Maharaj declared —
“Smaller than the atom, yet vast as the sky am I.
The body dissolved, illusion was gone.”
When the tiny ego — the “me” — dissolves,
the human expands to the scale of the cosmos.
He transcends the three gunas
and merges with pure consciousness.
“The triad is gone; the lamp within shines bright.”
When body, mind, and intellect melt away,
the inner light radiates in full brilliance.
“Now I remain only for the welfare of others,”
says Tuka.
Nothing remains for oneself;
only a stream of benevolence flows for all.
Janardan Swami too echoes the same realization —
*Meditating on Dattatreya, the mind lost itself;*
*The sense of I and You melted away.*
In that silence,
only consciousness, compassion, and unity remain.
This is the point where the devotee and the Divine,
the human and the holy,
morality and humanity,
all merge as one.
🌼
*The Universal Prayer — The Living Form of Humanity*
Sadguru Shri Wamanrao Pai’s World Prayer (Vishva-Prarthana)
is the highest expression of this awakened humanity.
“This universe is my home; all beings, my family…”
“O Lord, grant wisdom, health, and happiness to all.
Bless every being with peace and abundance.
Protect all; uplift all; may Your sweet Name dwell in every heart.”
These simple lines contain the entire spirit of Universal Humanity.
It is not a prayer of one faith —
it is the essence of all faiths combined.
The prayer reminds us:
Do not live only for yourself;
live for the well-being of all.
That alone is the worship of humanity.
World Prayer is not about changing the outer world —
it is about expanding the inner self.
That expansion is the true practice of human dharma.
🌿
*The Final Light — Not Morality, Humanity*
Today there are too many rules,
but too few relationships.
Too much information,
too little understanding.
We must return to the truth —
Education of the heart is the heart of education.
Humanity is not a subject to be taught;
it is the direction of life itself.
It lies not in religion,
but beyond all religious boundaries.
Not in sermons,
but in experience.
When we see ourselves in another’s eyes,
when forgiveness triumphs over anger,
and when we feel the entire universe as our own —
then humanity breathes again.
Remember —
to act rightly is not to follow religion,
but to live humaneness.
✨
*Not Morality — Humanity.*
🌸
Let Us Remember
“To treat a human as a human — that alone is true humanity.”
“Education of the heart is the heart of all education.”
“Smaller than the atom, yet vast as the sky.”
“Where the three gunas unite, man becomes Dattaswaroopa — and there begins true humanity.” — Life-Art Reflections
“O Lord, bless and protect all — this is the World Prayer, the essence of Humanity.” — Sadguru Shri Vamanrao Pai
✨
In essence —
The World Prayer is the awareness of Humanity,
and Humanity is the living expression of the Divine within.
🕊️
A humble step toward preserving Human Dharma.
