In today’s world, food has become synonymous with taste, indulgence, and pleasure. While enjoying the flavor of food is natural, it is merely a surface-level reason for eating. 3. Tamasic Food:

- Nature: Stale, lifeless, and energy-draining.

- Examples: Stale, fermented, overly processed, frozen food, alcohol, and meat.

- Effects: Leads to lethargy, confusion, and diseases.


As mentioned in the Vedas, eating Sattvic food brings a sense of peace, purity, and spiritual progress. This type of food enhances our prana (vital energy) and supports both body and mind.
