“Amhi Gondhali Gondhali – Govind Gopal’s melody…
Let us raise a sacred clamor – beating the sambal with Hari’s name!”
-तुकाराम महाराज
(This clamor is not of confusion…
It is the awakened rhythm of mindful living.)
*Confused? That Means You’re Still Alive.*
Today’s world is fast. Too fast.
Everyone’s running. Competing. Comparing.
Rushing through decisions.
Caught between “Should I?” and “Shouldn’t I?”
And so arises… confusion.
But pause for a moment —
Is confusion really a bad thing?
Or is it the first spark of awareness?
*Confusion ≠ Distress. It = Awakening.*
Confusion means — the mind is still thinking.
You are weighing choices, seeking clarity.
That’s a sign you haven’t surrendered your freedom to routine.
But distress?
Distress comes from fear, helplessness, and stagnation.
In confusion, decisions are still forming.
In distress, decisions are postponed.
*So if you’re confused be grateful.*
*You’re still alive inside.*
*Routine or Awareness -Same Action, Different Vibe*
“It’s just my daily work,” people say.
“It’s become second nature now.”
But sometimes “second nature” becomes no nature at all.
We lose presence. The work becomes mechanical.
And when work is mechanical —
joy disappears, creativity dries up,
and the mind becomes… a machine.
*The Post Office Story – A Stamp of Humanity*
A clerk at the post office spent his days stamping letters.
Day after day — thak-thak-thak — same motion.
He became just another cog in the machine.
But one clerk did something different.
Along with the stamp, he wrote:
“God Bless You.”
Small act. Big ripple.
People remembered not his name,
but the blessing he left behind.
He later ran for office,
and won.
Why?
Because he didn’t stamp letters.
He stamped hearts.
*Tukaram’s Gondhal Was Not Confusion… It Was Surrender*
When Sant Tukaram said,
“Slay the goats of lust and anger,
Offer prayers to Rakhumai instead!”
he was calling for an inner revolution.
Let your confusion be a celebration —
of questions, of seeking, of learning.
Gondhal is not just noise.
It’s devotion in rhythm.
It’s surrender with awareness.
*Every Day, Decide Again — with Awareness*
Any decision —
if not renewed daily with awareness —
becomes a habit. A rut.
And where there is no presence,
there is no you.
Let your confusion birth clarity.
Let awareness walk beside you.
So if you must raise a gondhal — raise it like this:
• Slay the inner goats — anger, ego, comparison
• Work mindfully
• Serve joyfully
• Live lovingly
• Lose yourself in song, not stress
*We too are Gondhali — but of a new kind…* Amhi Gondhali Gondhali
In the rhythm of mindful living
Let us raise the clamor of clarity
And beat the drum of service!
Let our rhythm awaken the world —
Not with noise,
But with the music of awakened humanity.
One Gondhali:
*Jayant Joshi*
(In service of the sacred confusion.)
