When Clarity Comes, Action Flows — My Shift to Forest Life 🌿

For many years, a silent thought had been growing within — to shift to a natural space, to live close to the earth. I had already lived in Ashrams, Gurukuls, and even did the Narmada Parikrama on foot without money, trusting nature and grace. So this idea of natural living wasn’t new. And yet, when the opportunity to stay in a forest farm came, I paused.
Despite having lived alone for over a decade, I found myself waiting — hoping for company, perhaps someone to walk this path with me. I told myself it would be easier, more manageable. But as it often happens, life had other plans. No one came forward to join. I couldn't ask for help . And slowly, I realized — no one was needed.
I wasn’t looking to live here for a social experiment, or to host gatherings. I only needed one plate, one glass, one bowl, one plate, 1 pan, one tawa and basic grocery. The goal was clear — solitude, Sadhana, simplicity, Sahajta.
So, I hired just one helping hand for two days. We packed and shifted everything needed — minimal but essential — in my small car. That was all it took. All those months of waiting and postponing, all those thoughts that delayed this decision — they dissolved the moment clarity took root.
And now, after settling here, I wonder — why did I delay at all?
But I don’t regret it. I believe everything unfolds at the right time. Sometimes, we keep waiting for help, when in truth, only a small action is needed. It wasn’t that help wasn’t available. It was simply that asking wasn’t my nature, and perhaps it wasn't even required. The only real requirement was inner clarity.
This blog is for those who feel a similar pull — to move into nature, to live on a farm, to reconnect with a deeper life. You may be waiting for support, perfect timing, or someone to accompany you. But I’ve learned — when your purpose is clear, the path becomes clear. Action follows. And even the Universe gently steps in to support your steps.
As the Bhagavad Gita so beautifully reminds us:
उद्धरेदात्मनात्मानं नात्मानमवसादयेत्।
आत्मैव ह्यात्मनो बन्धुरात्मैव रिपुरात्मनः॥
(गीता 6.5)
Meaning : Let a person lift themselves by their own self alone; let them not degrade themselves. For the self alone is the friend of the self, and the self alone is the enemy of the self.
When the inner voice becomes strong and silent, it removes all noise, all doubts. And then, only one thing remains — Walking your path.
I’ve started walking mine.
