(When we truly start listening to ourselves)
Life often feels like a speeding train —
Day after day rushing past,
with meetings, tasks, plans, expectations…
Everything seems organized, scheduled, relentless•
We sit by the window, watching the world blur past.
The journey feels real. But suddenly, a quiet question rises:
“Am I really going where I intended to go?”
🌿
*The Call for Stillness — It Comes From Within*
No one else is asking.
This isn’t a sermon.
There is no external guidance.
*This voice is yours. From within.*
One day, your own mind becomes still —
And gently asks:
*Should I pause for a moment?*
🪔
The Inner Door, as Dnyaneshwar Mauli ऐट the very beginning of Haripath, says:
*Devachiya Dwari Ubha Kshanabhari…*
“Stand for a moment at the door of the Divine…”
This ‘door’ is not some temple threshold.
It is the silent gateway within us — to our own deeper self•
To stand there, even for a moment,
is to return to our stillness — our center
where peace begins, and meaning flows.
🧬
Science Says the Same•••
Modern physics tells us that
More than 99% of every atom is empty and still.
There’s no solid mass in there.
Just space — still, silent space.
And yet, everything is born from it.
So perhaps, life too is not found in noise or rush —
but in that 99% inner stillness,
we never take time to visit.
🧭
As Sadguru श्री Vamanrao Pai Reminds Us…
*One must know where to pause.*
*Only the one who pauses at the right time is truly wise.*
That pause is not weakness.
It is wisdom.
It is alignment.
Sometimes, we pause to check our direction.
Sometimes, to rest.
Sometimes, just to listen —
not to the world, but to our own self.
🪷
*A Pause Is Not Stopping — It Is Listening*
This is not external advice.
Not someone else’s opinion.
This is your own inner knowing.
You already feel it when:
You’re running fast, but unsure why
You’ve overfocused on one thing, forgetting the rest•
You’ve given so much that your inner energy is thinning•
You don’t need a guide to tell you this.
You just need a moment… of listening.
📌
And Finally…
This isn’t something a mentor tells you.
It is what you whisper to yourself.
*Pause.*
*Look again.*
*Reorient.*
*Then walk forward, smiling — rooted, renewed, real.*
